DESCRIPTION
The Honshu Wakizashi in full tang construction is an everyday sword in the old style, but with a modernized design. The handle is made of sprayed-on, textured rubber that provides optimum grip and fully covers the tang right up to the handle end. The blade is made of 1060 carbon steel (not stainless) and includes a weight-reducing and stabilizing groove and etched lettering. The sheath is molded from fiberglass and unlike traditional wooden sheaths does not absorb water. A magnificent, practical short sword that looks great - and not only in the display case.
